The general rule of thumb is to keep the tint two shades lighter than your natural eyebrow color. Starting just two or three hairs in from the edge of your brow , begin making light brush strokes with the very tip of your pen/pencil, or tip of your angled brush. My natural eyebrows are bleach blonde and get the color medium brown. This is obviously more than 2 shades darker than my hair but it works for me but may not work for you. However this will depend on an individual and other factors such as health, status, genes etc. After the recommended time, take a cotton ball or pad with a little bit of baby shampoo and wipe away the dye. After applying a good amount to one brow, take a different small brush or Q-tip and wipe away any excess dye on the skin around your eyebrow. The dye will show up on your skin so it important the dye is only in the places you want colored.
It doesn’t matter the color of your eyebrows; this can work for any shade ranging from bleach blonde, like mine, or black. You can do it, you just need to be careful not to get product in your eyes as it can cause permanent eye damage. You can use the same color as your hair if your hair and your eyebrows match.
